There is nothing fun with the concept of ransom. The topic of ransom is not to be taken lightly. Within this word comes the understanding of a prisoner, price for freedom, and a capture. Humanity was under captivity by our sins and transgressions before the grace of God was bestowed upon us through the cross and empty tomb of Jesus. At the cross, the ransom for our freedom from sin was paid once and for all. We are free. Therefore live your lives as free living disciples of Jesus.
