Back to School Drive
We are collecting new school supplies and other essential items for children and families in our community. Your donation can help ease the burden of preparing for a new school year and remind students that they are supported and cared for.

Please place donations in the collection bins located in the church hallway by Friday, August 14, 2026.

* All donated items will be distributed to families served by Goodness Now Food Pantry.
Blessing of the Backpacks
As a new school year begins, we invite students and everyone involved in education to join us for a special Blessing of the Backpacks.
Bring your backpack as we pray for God’s wisdom, protection, courage, and peace throughout the coming school year.
Confirmation Class
Do you have a rising 7th grader or older student who is ready to profess their faith through confirmation? We’ll be offering confirmation classes starting on October 11, 2026, twice a month, with confirmation scheduled for May 16, 2027. In addition to our classes, there will be a field trip to Historic St. George’s United Methodist Church and the Bishop’s Confirmation Retreat.

Kickoff Picnic
Join us for our 2026 Kickoff Picnic as we celebrate the beginning of a new season together!

We'll be serving hamburgers and hot dogs, and if you're able, we'd love for you to bring a salad, fruit, or dessert to share.
There will be fun outdoor activities for children, youth, and families, making it a great afternoon for all ages!
Haircuts for Mission
Suzette Halligan, a licensed cosmetologist, will once again be giving free haircuts in exchange for a small donation towards our Missions. She can meet you at your house, hers, or the church! Contact Suzette or the church office to make an appointment.
Goodness Now Amazon Wishlist
Goodness Now is a food pantry operated by Middletown United Methodist Church, in partnership with other organizations, to help alleviate food insecurity in the community.

Serve in Worship!
We’re looking for volunteers to serve as liturgists in worship — helping lead announcements, Scripture readings, or parts of the service. This is a wonderful way to use your voice and gifts to bless our congregation.
