MidWinter Advance
Date: Friday, January 23, 2026 - Sunday, January 25, 2026
MUMC Youth is invited to join the MidWinter Advance between January 23, 2026, and January 25, 2026. This is a high-energy winter youth EXPERIENCE focused on bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to today’s youth.
It is held at Refreshing Mountain, in Stevens, PA, which offers a huge assortment of indoor and outdoor activities.
The weekend is led through teams of students from numerous Christian Organizations and Colleges as a part of their recruiting, training, or missions efforts. The teams, usually ranging from ten to fifteen in number, engage the youth in fellowship, testimony, sports, games, and a combination of skits, scripture, and worship.

2026 Summer Mission Trip
Date: TBD
Our youth and adult volunteers are invited to join the UM ARMY (United Methodist Action Reach-out Mission by Youth) — a week-long mission experience where faith meets service!
We’ll spend the week helping homeowners in need through hands-on projects like painting, building ramps, yard work, and home repairs—all while growing in faith, building friendships, and making a real difference in the lives of others.

Confirmation Classes
Date: Beginning December 2026
Are you ready to take the next step in your faith journey?
Our Confirmation Class is a special time for students (7th grade and older) to explore what it means to follow Jesus, grow in their relationship with God, and become full members of the church. We offer confirmation classes every other year, and the next one will begin in December 2026.
Through interactive lessons, service opportunities, meaningful discussions, and field trips, students will discover the foundations of our faith and what it means to live as disciples in today’s world. Along the way, they’ll form friendships, ask big questions, and experience God’s grace in new ways.
