Pastor Jisun describes the Transfiguration of Jesus and what the disciples saw: the amazing transformation of his human body into that of a supernatural being. The pastor shared the joys and sorrows of her trip to Korea to visit her mother and family; joy that her baby son got to meet his grandparents and other family members, sorrow over the pain and suffering that her mother was going through and joy that her mother got to hold her grandson before she makes the beautiful transition from this life to the next.

Pastor Jisun reflects on the season of life: every person walks a unique path and faces different challenges stemming from the inevitable reality of living in a perishable body. We cannot control the length of our lives, but we can choose how we live in the season that we are given. Grow in gratitude - count your blessings. Plant seeds of God's hope into the lives of others - a phone call, a prayer, a listening ear, a simple presence - may bring hope. Hope does not mean we deny reality. Hope means that we believe God is still at work. When we pray in the face of uncertainty there is hope in that trust and this is where our faith becomes real.
